Autumn pins a kid

He didn't get mad or anything but he didn't seem happy about it. Boys hate to lose to girls sometimes.

tough loss...

He was up in points, and then got pinned.

Boys are learning fast not to underestimate girls. But there's still that "sting" to it that you can really sense here. He thought he had the match under control, and then seconds later he's pinned by a girl.

Really impressive work by Talisha to get the pin.

dominating

Nice wins for Payton:

She didn't pin them but she totally dominated. Sometimes you'd almost rather just get pinned than get beat from start to finish like that.

Often girls win cause of technique and balance and timing and stuff like that, it's impressive to see Payton just overpower boys like this.

Autumn takes another victim

The boy laughs at the end after they shake hands, like "ha, I lost to a girl, very funny". But it's kind of silly when Autumn was clearly the better wrestler. It's not like it was some fluke and he didn't deserve to lose to her.

Kasey takes her first loss

Really hard fought battle. He didn't shake her hand after. Sometimes boys get mad when they lose to girls, but that's weird since he won. Maybe he was mad she gave him such a struggle. He's really muscular and probably didn't expect it from an 8th grade girl.

2 tough matches for Alejandra, she wins one and she loses one:

Autumn Potkay

Autumn's first pin of the season:

Autumn is great and beat a lot of boys last year, she has a Youtube channel with more of her matches: https://www.youtube.com/user/silentfoot2002/videos

Kasey is an 8th grade wrestler, and she's off to a good start. Here she pins a senior and two other wrestlers. Great job.
